Travel Planning
If you do not plan to rent a car and drive to the Wedding, the best option would be to catch a train from Grand Central to Cold Spring, New York (Cold Spring Station) and then take a cab or rideshare to the venue. JFK and Newark offer public transportation to Grand Central and public transportation from HPN to Cold Spring is possible.
Traveling by car
Glynwood is located off Route 301. The main entrance can be accessed by making a right on Stonecrop Lane after Big Woods Trailhead Parking. Some GPS devices may take you to enter via Glynnwood Road, a 2-mile unpaved road, which will also bring you to the right place! From there, follow signs to Perkins House.
Traveling by train
Take the Metro North (Hudson Line) train from Grand Central Station in New York City to Cold Spring. Upon arrival, call an Uber or grab a cab from the train by calling: (845) 454-4444.
*Please note that Uber / Lyft availability in Cold Spring is very limited and wait times
can be long. It is best to set up a ride through a cab service in advance. At the end of the night, you can take the evening shuttle back to the hotel blocks for better rideshare/cab access.
Traveling by plane
Stewart/SWF (25 minutes) and Westchester/HPN (1 hour) are closer to the venue but offer fewer flights. The closest major airports are LaGuardia, JFK, and Newark.
